- The hubby, and I had a nice little getaway in Baton Rouge while he was working.
- I fell off the healthy eating wagon at least 7 times this weekend. I feel so guilty, and terrible about it. I sat here and PROmised I would do well, and I broke the PROmise to myself. It even included Girl Scout Cookies. I still have two boxes, may send them to Java :-P
- I did get 7 miles done, with tough spots on miles 3-4 (dehydration). I know it was the poison cokes & beers I drank the night before. Thanks Nancy for my mile markers!
- We saw this huge rocking chair whilst running along LSU Lakes. I really felt like leaping on that rocking chair at at that point of the run.
- I got to hang with my online WeWa pal, Paige in Louisiana. We were quiet, and shy around each other for the first few minutes, but shortly it was like we were old friends. OK I know am still with the Brooks workout shirt, have I mentioned it's my favorite!
- We went for a nice family bike ride on the Seawall in Galveston Island, on a gorgeous Sunday.
- My 3 main guys, Dad, Hubby, and Lil' Buster soaking in the hot tub after cycling fun.

I didn't know Edith Ann lived in Baton Rouge? That rocking chair looks like a prop from Lily Tomlin's prop closet. Looks like you had a busy weekend!
The first pic is gorgeous!! And LOVE that last one. You are blessed.
Get back on the wagon. Travel (and weekends) can do that to me too. At least you got in some nice miles. I'm with ya!
Ahhhhhhh what a nice weekend! Don't sweat the fall off, everyone does it. As long as you get back on that's all that matters. right? ;-) Awesome pics chica!!
Did someone say cookies? Blasted blasted cookies!!!!!!
That rocking chair looks soooo inviting!! I would have stopped for sure!
I had a blast visiting with you!
Don't be so down about getting off program, you work out like a fiend!
I'm sure you'll do just fine getting back on the wagon *wink* We all deserve a break from time to time.
~Paige~
Great pics -- looks like it was fun AND productive!
7 miles is great mujer, gran trabajo!
The pics are great! Don't worry about the eating part - you were on a getaway!
Nice run too! I rarely am able to get a run in during a getaway!
Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. I like your blog layout too!
Looks like a great getaway! I need one of those somewhere that it is warm enough to be in water outside! LOL
Oh, and my cookies just came tonight...not good, not good at all :X

since i have fallen waaaay off the wagon and have that stinkin' marathon coming up, i decided to catch up on my wewa girls. how stinkin' inspirational are you???? i seem to remember you trying to figure out clipless pedals - now you are tri-ing?
you are my hero!
Great pictures Viv!! and WTG with an awesome 7 miler while on vacation!!!!! NICE!
I am climbing my tail back on the wagon too....can you give me nudge? ;)
Looks like ya'll had a great time...I love the trails around the lakes at LSU. It's so pretty! It's okay to fall off the wagon for a little while, as long as you climb back on. :-)
Ha ha. I totally thought of you when I made my galvaston comment. But I couldn't think of any other beaches that are local US and not that exciting. I lived in Houston in the mid 80s and we would go to Galvaston. My only memories are of all the tar we would get on our feet from the oil spills.
I have that brooks shirt too!! Bought it at the expo before my first half marathon!! :) Good job on the 7 miles
